KickStart Bundle Questions

• I've forgotten my password, what do I do?
  You can send an e-mail to support@webpark.ca or fill out our Contact Us form.
• If I decide at any point through the year that I want another website look, can I change the template I am using?
  If you wish to change your template, you will be charged the hourly rate of our development team to make the switch. You can have a maximum of 2 changes per contract year. If you wish to change your template more than two times, you will have to purchase a new KickStart annual package.
• How do I add or remove pages from my website?
  If the job requires custom work(adding pages) to our template(which is equivalent to a custom design), you will be charged out at the hourly rate of our development team. Having more than 5 pages *is* custom work. If you want less than 5 pages we will de-activate the buttons you don't want to use.
• Can I put files on my website for others to download?
  Yes. We offer a 5 MB FTP space. You will be given one account for yourself to upload and one account for your visiters to connect and download. If you wish to have this setup, please e-mail support@webpark.ca or fill out the Contact Us form. You may be restricted by the files you are allowed to put in your FTP space. Such information can be found in our Terms of Service.
• Is there a maximum web space limit under the KickStart Bundle?
  Yes, 25MB.
• How long does it take to get my website up and functional from the day I sign up?
  The time it takes for our web team to develop your site is dependent on the nature of the content. Also, it is difficult to determine how many revision phases will be required until you (the customer) are satisfied enough to go live with the site. We will however make every effort to get you up and running as soon as possible.
• Am I able to use other colors that are not on your color chart?
  Yes, if you can show us an example of the color you want, either from a photo, or on another website, we can use that as well. You can also texture your website with a picture/texture map of your choice to add that extra touch of customization to your site.
• If I have multiple websites to put up, do I still have to pay the $349.00 for each site?
  Yes, each site is under its own contract which is $349.00/yr
• With the KickStart package, are there any limits on how many monthly visitors I am allowd?
  You are allowd up to 750MB of traffic transfer per month, which equates to approximately 320,000 page hits per month.
• Do you have a referral program?
  Yes, for every referral, your next contract year with us receives a $30.00 discount.
• Can you explain the process from start to finish on what is needed from me to setup my website?
  1. Sign up and pay for the KickStart package using the Paypal button provided.
  2. Select a template from our templates gallery.
  3. Decide on a colour scheme for your template.
  4. Take some time to storyboard the content for your site.
     - what you want the menu buttons to read
     - what your logo will look like
     - what content you want and where it will be located on your site
     - what pictures or graphics you want and where they will be placed
     * It is a good idea to sketch all this out on paper to help you visualize what you want.
     * If you are uncomfortable with this process, you can have our web team take a "first stab" at it and then help us to fine tune it from there.
  5. Gather all the content you plan on having on your website (in digital format with the exception of photos).
  6. Send an e-mail to support@webpark.ca describing how you want the content displayed and attach all graphics and images for your site.
  7. That's it! We will take it from there!
  8. Once we have a draft version of your site in place, we will send you the link to a secure area to preview your site. At this time, you can request additional changes via e-mail to support@webpark.ca. Your site will not go live until you are completely happy and have signed off on the changes made to your website.
• With the KickStart Bundle when does my contract officially start, the day I sign up?
  No, we allow a grace period of 3 months before we start your contractual year. This grace period is intended for you to gather all the content for your Website and send it to our designers to develop your site. If you "sign off" on your website before the 3 months is up, your contractual year will start on the day you "sign off".
• If I choose to go with another web provider, can I take my website with me?
  No, the templates are Webpark.ca's intellectual property. We can however, develop a custom design that best suits your branding strategy. Pricing will be based on a case by case basis.
